Secure the Vote MD (www.securethevotemd.com) exists to guarantee Maryland citizen’s right to a secure and accurate election. We understand our elections are critical infrastructure and MUST be properly monitored and managed. We have filed a Notice of Appeal for our lawsuit that aims to force the State Board of Elections to address the 79,349 current registration violations. In the meantime, we have identified 4 CRITICAL ways citizens can engage with our election process to ensure a SECURE 2024 General Election:
VOTE! Your vote is the easiest and best way to keep someone from stealing your registration. Like the childhood game of musical chairs, each registration is like an empty chair: If you’re sitting in the chair, it makes it a lot harder for a criminal to steal it.
BE A POLLWORKER!! Three types of Poll Workers. We cannot stress enough — other than voting, THIS IS THE MOST CRITICAL WAY YOU CAN HELP OUR ELECTIONS. When we don’t have competent people signed up like YOU, the BOE hires staff from 3rd party “temp agencies” who care only about collecting their paycheck and do NOT care about the election. We have witnessed this with our own very eyes!!! WE NEED COMPETENT PEOPLE LIKE YOU!
Please email us ASAP at Citizenvoter2024@gmail.com if you plan to be a Poll Worker!
Poll Watcher: Unofficial observer of the election process. The elections “eyes and ears.

Election Judge: Official paid temporary Election Day worker. Must complete a 3-hr training through the state. No experience is required, and the local board of elections in your county will provide comprehensive, mandatory training. Bilingual speakers are encouraged to apply.

CALL Baltimore County BOE: 410-887-0982 Registration is now open for November election. Please let us know if you have been selected to be an Election Judge so we may include you in our trainings!
Canvasser: Official paid, temporary Election worker who processes and counts the votes. Chosen by the local Board of Elections. Canvassing dates vary.
ACTION: Email Citizenvoter2024@gmail.com Subject: Canvasser if you would like to be recommended to be a Canvasser.
SIGN OUR PETITION! We need thousands of registered voters in Maryland to support our 7 Best Voting Practices for an Accurate Election. /petition-instructions/
Vote EARLY! The ONLY vote that will count is the FIRST ballot received. This means, if you wait to vote IN-PERSON on Election Day, you risk being told your vote has already been cast by someone other than yourself. Therefore, it is in our best interest to use a mail-in ballot to vote. Request a mail-in ballot by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd and HAND DELIVER (do NOT mail it or place in a drop box!) to your local Board of Elections on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5th).
