RE: Civil Case No.: SAG-24-00672
Maryland Election Integrity, LLC, et al., Plaintiffs V. Maryland State Board of Elections, Defendant

Dear Judge Gallagher,
We, citizens of the United States of America and Residents of Maryland, are confused and disheartened by your decision to dismiss this case, stated above, due to “Lack of Standing,” as cited in your Memorandum Opinion dated May, 8, 2024.

We are confused because Voting is a right, a Civil Right, not a privilege, and as United States citizens we have a right to question issues that concern us about our rights. Citizens always have “Standing” when they know they civil rights have been abridged.

Maryland Election Integrity, LLC, et al – as stated – represents the citizens of Maryland in this case. It seems, from your Memorandum, that because this case was filed by an LLC instead of an individual citizen that is why you ruled the way you did.

We would like you to understand, that as citizens we approve of this organization representing us – just as any large group of people would have a ‘representative’ to state their position, for example a Union organization representing the workers.

We could have all come and filed into the Courtroom along with the Attorneys who are representing this case, but why would that have rendered your decision any differently?

Citizens have a right to address grievances to their government, as stated in our Constitution. The Judicial system has a duty to hear those grievances, as an arm of the government. The term “Standing” is not exactly a credible position to take against Citizens, and instead appears to be more of an excuse not to hear claims of evidence. We the people grant the government the authority to preserve our God given rights, and in so doing the government’s duty is to protect those rights. We the people always have standing when it comes to addressing our concerns about preserving our rights, especially when it has to do with our number one right – having our votes counted in full and not to be diluted.

Our franchise to elect our representatives – not our ‘rulers’ – is one of our most precious rights. All legitimate United States citizens, regardless of party, regardless of race or gender or religious affiliation, have the right to vote. But when we can see, with our own eyes, our Election System being compromised we must make a stand to protect that precious right to vote.

What we are seeing is that our votes are being diluted, possibly erased, possibly switched; our voter rolls are not being maintained as Federal Law demands. How are we, as citizens, supposed to accept these anomalies that are right in front of our faces – real time – but we are being expected to turn away and pretend this isn’t happening?

We the people understand we have a Rule of Law in our Country. We, and most importantly you, have the God given responsibility and duty to uphold our United States Constitution. And we’re reminding you now, that to have been granted the honorable position you now hold, you took an oath before God and us as citizens to do that. We cannot stand by idly and not raise our voices for all citizens of America when we see these things happening.

Respectfully, we are asking that you reconsidered hearing this case. It is our Right as citizens to ask this of you, and your duty as a Judge for us to come together and figure this out. This is not an ‘us vs. them’ situation. This is simply a Right to Vote for all legitimate American Citizens – Safely, Accurately, Securely and Fairly. And anyone who rails against that request from the Citizens of this Country cannot be following the Constitution, but rather following an agenda from some other source.

Please reconsider hearing this case. If we end up being wrong – so be it. But not hearing it makes our government seem as if they want to hide something. And that is the issue here – not a “STANDING” issue.

Respectfully,

Dale E. Livingston, Committee Chair
