Secure the Vote MD has collaborated closely with the Maryland GOP Grassroots Election Integrity Committee to create an Election Complaint Hotline available to all Maryland citizens. This Hotline is designed to ensure the integrity of the election process by allowing voters, poll observers, and election workers to report any potential issues they encounter.
How to Submit a Complaint
Complaints can be submitted via phone call, web submission, or text. The Hotline will be operational during the entire election period, from early voting through the certification of results, which spans from October 24, 2024, to November 15, 2024.
The Hotline is also equipped to handle issues related to mail-in ballots.
Types of Issues to Report
Potential issues or vulnerabilities that can be reported include, but are not limited to:
– Being encouraged to vote provisionally because:
– A mail-in ballot was not requested by the voter
– A mail-in ballot was requested but not received
– A mail-in ballot was requested by the voter, but the voter decided to vote in person
– Mail-in ballots delivered to the wrong address
– Mail-in ballots addressed to the wrong person
– Being presented with the wrong ballot
The Maryland 2024 Election Hotline is a critical tool for maintaining the integrity of the election process. By providing a straightforward and accessible means for reporting potential issues, it helps ensure that every vote is counted accurately and fairly. Voters, poll observers, and election workers are encouraged to utilize this resource to address any concerns they may have, thereby contributing to a transparent and trustworthy election.
